Acrylic, black canvas 80/110 cm
original technique called "plyontanism"
2026
This painting is created using acrylic technique in the style of Plyontanism, characterized by rich texture, dynamic linear structures, and symbolic imagery. The dominant motif is a monumental human head whose features organically merge with natural elements – the trunk of a tree and branching limbs – suggesting a deep connection between humanity, nature, and the passage of time.
In the background, an arched opening appears, resembling a gateway or passage into another realm. Beyond it lies a calm landscape with water, greenery, and a solitary tree, contrasting with the dramatic, fiery tones of the surrounding sky. This contrast creates a tension between inner tranquility and the dynamic forces of the outer world.
At the lower part of the composition, chess symbols emerge – a king piece and fragments of a chessboard – referencing strategy, decision-making, and life as a game in which every move shapes our path.
The painting can be perceived as a visual meditation on the relationship between human existence, nature, and consciousness. The characteristic Plyontanist texture of layered strokes adds movement and energy, inviting the viewer to explore deeper symbolic and emotional layers within the composition.
