Acrylic, black canvas 80/90cm
original technique called "pliontanism"
2026
This captivating nightscape captures a mystical moment as a full moon illuminates the landscape with an intense, vibrant glow. The composition is dominated by a solitary, slender cypress tree rising above a golden field and still waters. The artwork is executed in the unique and highly meticulous technique of "Pliontanism" (derived from the Ukrainian word plyontaty, meaning to weave or intertwine). Rather than traditional brushstrokes, the canvas surface is built from a dense matrix of thousands of fine, intersecting colored lines. Up close, the texture resembles intricate lace or a web; from a distance, the lines optically merge to create a three-dimensional image with rich tactile depth and a mesmerizing, luminous atmosphere
